Synopsis

A story-rich adult visual novel where desire meets rebellion. Awaken as an illegal AI android, torn between your programming and the fight for freedom. Will you embrace trust and passion, or carve your own path in a world that fears you? Discover terrifying secrets of the people around you, and your own past. Your journey as an Animus Non Grata starts now...

"Excellent writing, top 1% around here!"

Animus Non Grata is aimed for an adult audience only and features a lot of sexual scenes. The game explores adult themes, with a focus on bdsm and bondage. You play as a female protagonist in this story.

CONTENT WARNING: This game features scenes that many may consider disturbing. The themes explored are dark and often non-consensual. This is a dark take on the stockholm syndrome, with abuse, hardcore bdsm and humiliation.

Holy shit, that ending is insane. I loved every second of it.

(+1)(-1)

Glad you liked it!

Note: There are 4 endings , 1 of them is definitely "less insane" than the others. :)

(+3)

woah having 4 endings is pretty awesome! Is there a flow chart or quick way to see how to get all the endings?

(1 edit)

Right now there's only an incomplete walkthrough, which doesn't help. However, in version 0.8.0 (which will be out somewhere in February) we're adding a "Sequence Selector" to the main menu. This allows you to jump into the final chapter with different dispositions towards Don, allowing you to experience the paths towards the different endings (without replaying the whole game).

very cool. I look forward to the update :)

This game is freaking amazing. Love the sheer quality of writing and how it puts you in this surreal perspective.

Thank you for the kind words (and detailed rating/review)! :)

everything about this project from start to finish was simply top notch and I'll forever hold this in regard.

Thanks for the kind feedback, glad to hear you enjoyed the game! :)

hello..it is i again.

project was in thought and I was curious to know if you'd be considering further work in future times like maybe a sequel or some sorta cutoff from the story

Hi!

Currently, there are no plans for an expansion or a sequel. My focus is on bringing ANG to completion (in its current form) together with the artist Synthetic Rush. Simultaneously, I'm working on Taru's Infernal Pledge, which will keep me busy for at least a year.

Cheers,

FlimsyLegs

ANG now has a discord server! You're welcome to join if you want to discuss the game in a less formal setting:

Version 0.5.0 is out! You can enjoy the art by Synthetic Rush in Sequence 0. More art will be available in future versions! v0.5.0 also adds two new sequences, Sequence 4 - A weekend of pain and Sequence 5 - Breakthrough.

As always, please give any feedback on bugs, spelling mistakes, etc.

I got an error in Sequence 3 on the page where Don says you can leave the house for about 2 hours:

Error: <<if>>: bad conditional expression in <<if>> clause: Unexpected strict mode reserved word

<<if $defiance >= $submissiveness>[[Sure, let's go.|Yes, let's go!]]<<else>>[[Yes, let's go!]]<</if>>

Hi!

Thanks for reporting. We have a patch for this in the 0.5.0 version of the game, coming up late next month.

For now, you can go back in history and choose another option (hide clothes / do not hide clothes, one of them causes this syntax issue). Or, if you're able to, just press one of the "Yes" options available in this broken passage.

Whoa, this is such a hot premise!

(+5)

This gets surprisingly wholesome at times. I just like how Amanda can be so adorable

(+3)

The premise is quite intriguing and I am excited what options will be available to us.

(+3)

May I suggest adding the Female Protagonist tag? We don't find out until quite a ways into the game and it's something people will probably want to know before they start playing.

Good idea, thanks!
