Dev log 2

Piru, demon man, Tiefling-like characters are big and it seems like every second person's d&d character is one. It's the only reason I tend to draw horns these days. The first person I thought of was Christian Bale for this character, so his face was staring back at me when drawing this.

Added some extra character details, notched ear and earring on the other. There are a lot of horns to choose from so I picked the easiest because I've gotta draw this guy a bunch.

For coloring, I did a base red and built up the highlights with color dodge. It's not great for normal skin, but works well with sexy devils and quick and easy.

The hair was axed and I had to do some detailing on how exactly these horns are going to work. I wanted cat-like reflective eyes but couldn't really pull it off in a clear way and having different sized irises is becoming a real problem that I need to get a handle on. I really dig the forehead texture and gives the character a sense of power and age while at the same time still having a young look. Old but young, false youth or perhaps just a mirror of what you want to see in his face.
